Letter to the
reader?
I’ve never liked websites that suggest there’s more behind them than there really is. Websites you can scroll through for ages and still come away none the wiser.
Over the years in live communication, we’ve written our share of “Letters to the Reader” for pitches. Why are we fans? Because a good letter shows what you stand for. It makes ideas and strategies easy to grasp. And it paints a picture that stays with you.
Provided, of course, that it’s well written—and that the work behind it lives up to it.

Dear readers,
A warm welcome to pcmd.studio!
My name is Swantje Marquardt. I’ve worked in live communication for 25 years. For 20 of those years, the agency MINDACT was my professional home, including more than eight years as managing director. Now I lead pcmd.studio.
Why call it a studio?
Because we want to be clear about who we are. We don’t have a large organization behind us. What we do have is the ability to get things done. pcmd.studio is personally led, flexible in how it works and committed to tailoring every project to what it needs.
Why the name pcmd?
Because it captures what we do.
CMD – Create. Manage. Deliver.
Let’s get started! I’m looking forward to this new chapter.
